| From the suburbs
of the San Fernando Valley to the beaches of San
Diego, Rick Bednarek is a Southern California
boy through and through. Born and raised in Winnetka,
Rick traveled south to attend college at San Diego
State, earning a degree in Communications with
an emphasis on media studies. True to his California
roots, Rick loves to surf and enjoys doing just
about anything in the Great Outdoors. Rick recently
returned to San Diego to run in the marathon benefiting
the American Stroke Association and is eager to
lace up the running shoes again for another marathon
in the near future.
